I bought my incubator last summer, and couldn't wait for spring, I had to test it out. It's no top of the line thing at all, but it does work. Anyway, we filled it and ended up in Sept with 30 some chicks. At least half were roosters and most of them got eaten, still got a couple left out there. I saved four pullets for spring pullets eggs, they are all laying now just about the time others are just getting chicks. This time I didn't fill it, only 36, ten of which are my daughter-in-law's.
