I've been reading this site and lurking while trying to make the decision to get chicks or not and now that I am, I registered today!

I set up my brooder today in our basement and will be going to a local store here in Portland (OR) to get an Ameracauna, White Cochin and a 3rd (hopefully a Brahma). We don't have the outdoor coop built yet, but I have the plans for a pyramid shaped chicken tractor and we will be building it over the next 6-8 weeks. Really hoping for some sunshine!
