Hey all. Cluckinnova checking in from Clarke Co VA. I'm relatively new to chicken raising, but I'm on my way to running my own. The most experience I've had was feeding/cleaning up after my grandfathers chickens over my summer breaks many years ago.
I now have a coop built into a protected pen area(10Wx12Hx6H) chain link with wire mesh across the top to prevent the foxes(a real problem here), coons, and vultures from getting in overnight and that lies inside a more open pen only secured with poly/plastic mesh poultry fencing so I can let them out to roam around more during the day.
I should have a few Red SexLinks by next week.
