Remember when I told you guys that i sold Penguin, Mipsy, and Pippy to a place where i could still go visit them anytime? Yesterday I stopped by to say hello!
Penguin - Sapphire Gem (the only blue chicken)
Pippy - Black Star (black with orange on chest)
Mipsy - Asian Black (black with white on chest)
They looked happy and healthy.

My 12 chicks (now almost pullets) moved outside into a coop with a heat lamp today. They are almost 5 weeks old and it was about time. Chicks with feathers REALLY start to dust up the place! Anyway, that went well and they are happy to finally be moving out like big girls.

I'm grateful that tomorrow is going to be sunny and in the upper 50s! I even bought a roll of fencing from TSC today so my chicks can peck around in the grass tomorrow.

Now for the big news! I got more chicks today! I'm raising them until 8 weeks for a friend from church. She is actually buying 18 chicks from me in a couple weeks. 7 of the older ones and all of the new ones.

This summer I will be raising and selling chicks often. So, if any of ya'll are near me and are looking for started pullets.....
