Thanks! 15 more are going tomorrow. Soon I'll be down to only the chicks I'm keeping, which will be nice because then I can take time to bond with them!

Awesome! For bonding, try to hold them less, but offer feed in your hand and sit in their coop with them. Move slowly and gently, and let them climb up on you.

Today I got more chicks! 6 Buff Orpington's and 3 Black Austrolorps! Although I'm not sure who I'll be selling and keeping yet, everybody is super adorable! Enjoy the pictures!

On May 18th, 13 of the other pullets went home! 3 Speckled Sussex, 3 Light Brahmas, 2 Blue Copper Marans, 2 Sapphire Gems, 1 Rhode Island Red, 1 Buff Orpington, and 1 Olive Egger!

I’ve been choosing chicks to keep. I think this year my flock will end up with 9 hens and 1 rooster. So far:

Phoenix - Blue Copper Maran (Rooster)
Galaxy - Olive Egger
Aurora - Buff Orpington
Nala - Easter Egger
Eclipse - Isa Brown
Nova - Buff Orpington
Pepper - Sapphire Gem
Trinity - Wellsummer

From the 9 chicks I just bought, I will probably keep 2 of them. I’m not sure which ones and I don’t have names picked out so they weren’t included in this list.
