you don't have to worry about me winning, I only have one of a standard color to show, the rest of mine are non standard (and silkies too)
I wish everyone luck tomorrow and please come find me for your 50/50 raffle tickets. the winner gets 1/2 of the money taken for the tickets.

we have several really nice items on the raffle table (and a few more still coming but I don't know what they are)
we have so far:
3 certificates for bags of poulin grain- winners choice of poultry grain to be picked up at their local poulin grain dealer (includes a list of dealers on the back)
a t-shirt size xl "I have OCD" (chicken obsessive disorder)
a marinara basket which includes fresh grown tomatoes, a bottle of wine, onions and pasta.
a chicken crossing sign
1 metal duck
a chicken family tree (really tongue in cheek)
a bouquet of candy (looks like flowers)
a clock that runs on water, or soda, or lemon juice (no batteries needed)

there is also a live auction that generally includes some quality poultry as well as other miscellaneous items not necessarily poultry related but they might be (these items are all by donation, hint hint, and the money raised goes to support the show.)

Hoppy, what a dedicated worker you are for the good of the club.

Wish I had more time to help out....

Winning is great, but the event and the people are really what it's all about

Hoppy, thank you so much for taking the time to talk with us today, we had a wonderful time at the show! Some of the chickens there were just amazing! I never knew chickens came in so many colors and varieties! The "Old English" were my favorites, my husband loved those Roosters with the White wattles ( I didn't catch what breed they were) and my daughters hands down favorite were the "frizzy geese" we saw. I would have never thought a three year old would enjoy going as much as she did. She was pretty done in and tired out by 11:30 but was still crying she wanted to stay, lol. I think when she's old enough I'll try 4H with her. Thank you again and I hope you raised lots of money for the club in the 50/50 :)
Jennifer
