I have a 2-3 month old silkie with cocci and wry neck. Is it okay to treat both illnesses at the same time with vitamins and corid? I usually crush Vitamin D and Selenium into poultry drench and syringe it orally. Since you're supposed to eliminate vitamins with cord, should I leave out the poultry drench and use water instead?

The vitamins needed for wry neck are B1 thiamine and E plus a tiny amount of selenium, which is most safely given in food, suchas a little egg, sunflower seed or tuna. B1 thiamine is not given during Corid treatment, since Corid mimics thiamine in the coccidia organism. E is safe to give, 400 IU daily onto food or by mouth. So I would just use the E during Corid, and you can then resume other vitamins after treatment. Since Poultry NutriDrench can cause diarrhea if given more than a couple of days, you may want to use B Complex tablets later for the thiamine. Dosage is 1/4 tablet crushed or ground onto food daily.
