Yesterday someone had a Mudpie poop that looked like blood.
I spent 3 hours calling and finding a place that had sulmet or corid. I started the corid yesterday ($28 freakin dollars?!). I also put some probiotics in a different smaller water container. I also switched them all back to medicated feed.
No one looks or acted sick but there were 3 piles of reddish bloody looking poop. I made sure to toss all the bedding scrubbed down their sleeping quarters with vinegar and water and put in new playground sand in their run.
I know we can't eat the layers eggs for approx 14 but can I scramble them and feed them back to the flock? I mean they're already drinking the corid it can't hurt to give it to them eggs right?
I also moved the waterer. I feel like a jackass I realized there were slats in the coop floor and I think some poo might have dropped into the waterer. I had the waterer suspended under the coop to keep it shaded. Doh!
