Coccidia help

I am giving her the albon that the vet gave me along with Panacur. Before I went to work this morning she was more alert and drinking so well....also eating pretty good. Just got home and it seems she is breathing heavier with her mouth open. I got corid to put in the rest of the flocks water.

I just checked on her again and she passed away within the past 15 minutes :(. She was doing so good this morn. Thanks everyone that gave input. My remaining flock is on Corid.

Sorry for you loss.

I am sorry to have caused confusion. There was a fecal float performed. There was an excessive amount of coccidia. I also omitted that capillari were found but not a large amount. He did give me panacur for that. I decided to treat the rest of my flock with Strike III to cover my bases on Capillari. He was definitely more concerned with the amount of coccidia. I apologize for not giving all the information up front, as I was desperate for help with coccidia. Sorry I'm so sorry for your loss

Thank you for clarifying what test(s) were performed by the vet. Cocci and worms can be quite the perfect storm. I hope the rest of your flock responds to medication and you have no more problems.

Please keep us posted.
