I have 40 chickens and started having runny poop from several chickens

Back down on poultry grains because I’m sure I was over spoiling them
The runny poop is better but I still have couple
This morning I found very runny poop that looked like it had blood in it
they all seem like they are ok
I did panic a couple weeks ago and bought Corid but haven’t used because I thought it was from to much scratch
I don’t have access to a vet
So my question is two fold
What do you think
And do I need to destroy eggs when I use the corid
Thank you

You didnt mention how old are your chickens. In any case, stop feeding your birds scratch and any other treats and feed them layer feed only.
Go ahead and give them the corid. Corid is a thiamine blocker, not an antibiotic. There is no egg witdrawal period. Do not give your birds anything containing thiamine while administering the corid.

X2.

They are about 14-15 months
now that you say that is it true that coccidus is mainly in chicks? Or is that Merck’s?

I have started giving side of oyster shell ( which they don’t like) mixed with egg shells(which they love) Because their egg production has gone down and I read that could be a reason for it
but our weather has been so wonky not sure why

Is the whole flock the same age or have you recently brought new birds home?
Recently as in in the last month or two.

Yes we bought 8 of the same age a little over month or so we had them separated for 2-3 weeks

I would treat everyone with the Corid then.
The new birds could have brought in a new strain of coccidia or vice versa.

I will thank you
Ad I will use the info I found on post here earlier

Just a follow up question?
how long does it take for the corid to take affect?
I still see diarrhea but not as many. This is the third day I am going to have stop over the weekend because of rain but then will start again with the second round
