Coccidiocis!!!!!!! How much egg yolk to feed?????

Hello! Thanks for the welcome! I know it's not overheating, but it could've been from under heating. I don't think so though. Their bedding is hay and the hay has been stored for a while. I don't think they were over stressed because it took about three days before they started dying! :he :idunno
Thanks for all the help everybody!

I would put those packets of probiotics etc in their water....I DID THAT. the" Save a chick" type.
Now if I had it to do over would have started them on OREGANO THE HERB, or pure OIL OF OREGANO.... VERY DILUTED FORM in their water. So they would get used to the taste,,,
Just my two cents worth
Oh also new wood shavings... I did newspapers with little bit on wood chips. Changed it prob twice a day....

Have you considered just giving them a small back of medicated feed will treat the coccidia. You can also mix the medicated with non medicated if you want, but i would just give it straight for a period of time and switch back to non medicated
medicated feed will NOT treat cocci, it is a preventative measure to help them not get it in the first place
to treat they need amprolium at proper dosages

How often should I change their litter? I was thinking about using pine chips, but there are too many little pieces the chicks were trying to eat. Is there a way to sift those out?
when its dirty or wet, weekly?
sounds like they will also outgrow their brooder rather quickly and they may not have a cool enough spot to get away to

the hay could have mold and that could be what is killing them
hay molds VERY quickly if not stored properly
