Hi! I'm new to the forum and chicken keeping. I have 3 4-week old chicks. I've been putting them in the run during the warm days, here in Texas. I noticed my Sussex lay a large, slightly runny poop that looks like lumpy mud, with just a tiny bit of red. I spread it out with a toothpick to try to see if it was blood, but couldn't tell. I've been feeding medicated chick feed and electrolyte water. What do you think? Should I start Corid just to be safe?

Thanks! I do think I over analyzed it. The girls are all 4.5 weeks old now, and run around in their coop/run like its Disneyland! No signs of fuzzy wings and sitting still. I'm learning so much from this site! I hope it makes me a better chicken keeper.
