I have a hen that is about 4 years old. The last few days she's been lethargic and two days ago started having watery poops. She hasn't laid an egg in about 5 days. This morning I noticed, what I think is, intestinal lining on the poop board below where she roosted overnight. See the picture below, the pink mass is about an inch long and her watery poops are visible in the photo too. Could this be a symptom of coccidiosis?

I believe that is something else that I cant think of the name. The pink mass has a name. Sorry I cant remember the names. This is bad and needs to be taken care of now. The mass is uterine lining I believe

Hmmm, I think this makes sense. Poor girl, she's partially blind and has been doing so well. I read that if it's caught early, antibiotics can help. I have access to tetracycline and will see if that helps at all. Thanks for your input!

I'm sorry this must be heartbreaking. One of my girls is sick with Coccidiosis and it's killing me. Good luck, and remember you gave her a good life whatever happens

It looks like it may be shell membranes all wrapped together. Do you still have that so you can cut it open or pull it apart?

I'd start her on 300mg Calcium Citrate +D3 asap, give once daily for 7 days to see if this helps her expel more material. It could be Lash Material (Salpingitis) or some other reproductive disorder that is causing this.

Give the Tetracycline as well, this may help with inflammation and infection. See that she's staying hydrated and encourage her to eat her normal feed.
