Could someone please help me out with dosages of AmproMed I would like to mix it up 1 gallon at a time. I don't know if I am suppose to mix it at .006%, .012%, or .024%. I have 21 chickens and 2 heated water bowls (probably doesn't make any difference). I would appreciate any information as I would like to start my girls on this tomorrow as I noticed a few of them have runny poop.

The dosage for Amprol 9.6% liquid at the 0.24% is 2 tsp per gallon of water,go with this dose. The other dose 0.12% is for moderate outbreak and the .006% is for maintenance/preventative.

Corid 20% powder is 1-1.5 tsp per gallon of water,use the 1.5 tsp. Treat ALL chickens for 5-7 days,do not give vitamins during treatment as they interfere with the ability of the coccidiostat to work. Give vitamins after treatment is complete.

The preventative dose (.006%) for Corid Powder is 1/3 teaspoon (1.134 grams) per US gallon.
The preventative dose (.006%) for Corid liquid is 1/2 teaspoon per US gallon.

The moderate outbreak dose (.012%) for Corid Powder is 3/4 teaspoon (2.268 grams) per US gallon.
The moderate outbreak dose (.012%) for Corid liquid is 1 teaspoon per US gallon.

The severe outbreak dose (.024%) for Corid Powder is 1.5 teaspoons (4.536 grams) per US gallon.
The severe outbreak dose (.024%) for Corid liquid is 2 teaspoon per US gallon.

Indications: For the treatment of coccidiosis.

I am new to byc and didnt know where to go I want to fodder my chickens sprouts but am concerned with contamination ecoli ect and poisening my birds. Any info threads would be most helpful
