Cocciodosis

So she's gotten as far as that pic, not putting on any weight and looking scraggley, and today when I gave her the final dose of Ivermetin, I could really feel how skinny she is. I rubbed my hand over her feathers and they just fall right off.

I'm preparing to dose for corrid, but is this the right direction you think? I do have safe-guard.
Get a current photo of poop and of her.

You didn't treat with Corid already?

Question, I'm guessing she's maybe a couple lbs? I don't really have a good way to weigh her I'll see if I can make some comparisons. But after I estimate, looking at my syringe it does it doesn't say ml, but does show 5 markers to 0.5 so I assume for 2 lbs I'd draw to the 2nd line.

Yes, you'd draw to the second line.

Do be sure that she also has mixed Corid water as her only source of drinking water.

Your feeding a Chick Starter correct?

Liquid Corid dose is 2tsp or Powdered Corid Dose is 1 1/2tsp per gallon of water given for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.
Do not add any extra vitamins/electrolytes that contain B1(Thiamine) to food or water during the course of treatment.

Yep only source, and also gave her a dose from syringe of about 2.5 ml, I'll try to get a better weight tomorrow. I should probably order a scale.

I do have the chick feed still yes, but also give her dried boon or mili worms, and scrambled eggs which she gobbles up.

I'll focus on getting her to eat more chick feed. She has grit. I'm refreshing her whole set up today.

Corid Amprolium Oral Drench Instructions

9.6% liquid - Do not dilute
  • Give 0.1 ml per pound of body weight orally once or twice a day for 1-3 days.
or
  • 0.02 ml per 100 grams of body weight orally once or twice a day for 1-3 days.

20% powder - Mix 1/2 teaspoon powder with 2 teaspoons water.
  • Give 0.34 ml per pound of body weight orally once or twice a day for 1-3 days.
or
  • 0.07 ml per 100 grams of body weight orally once or twice a day for 1-3 days.

The directions above are the same when using any 9.6% liquid or 20% powder. Such products include Amprol, AmproMed, Amprolium 200, Amprid, CocciAid, etc.

What?
You mean you gave her a direct oral drench of 0.20ml right, she weighs 2lbs, so that's 0.20ml dose for her?

Oh, that's good!
You had typed/posted 2.5ml which is 12.5times the oral dosage. I suppose the decimal was in the wrong place:)
Yes that's right where I drew to for what I estimate her at.
