    could it be white because on Cackle hatchery teh babies look white and gray

    i have got the babies and one has a red head and a white chest and a black black i will get a pic later

Mine always throw me for a loop until they get older b/c some of them hatch so dark...but then grow out a gorgeous blue. It was easier when I just had a splash roo with black girls b/c I knew what I'd get every time! hehe Not so much with a black roo, blue cock, black and blue girls all together!

    I thought I would post my cochin baby for comparison. Mom was red and daddy was black...am I correct in assuming black is the dominant color?
