This is Brownie - 5 weeks exactly when this was taken. She/He looks like a Project Runway chick with long legs and the perfect pose.
I thought for sure this was a Cochin as a chick, now I'm wondering if she is a he, and a dark Brahma? Neck feathers coming in now and look coppery. This was the only chick to have pasty butt issues and still avoids being held or touched. As tall as the rest of the flock, but much smaller body - Brahmas are slow growers, I've read. Your thoughts? The 10 are an assortment of rare females from Hoovers, so cochin and brahmas are both possible.
