Yes, we do grow some of our chickens for meat, thats likely what we will do with the excess chickens

I am glad things are working out for you. I am sorry that you didn't get your feather footed friends. They really are a nice bird. I think they are the most quiet and gentle of all the different hens I have. Not to mention they are the coolest to just pet and hold. They are so soft. Until next year then....
