Cochin With Crooked Foot/Toes

My show cochin has some crooked toes. I can move them correctly into place, but they won't stay there.
He is about 7 months old.
Can I put some sort of splint on it, to try to fix it?
I think he was born with it.

You can try taping the toe as shown in the following links, it may work. Sometimes if it's not fixed at a very young age (first few weeks) the fixes may not work or it may take longer to bring back into position.
