This is really interesting!! Thank you so muchWe have cochins as well. They both look to be pullets to me. They are both walking close to the ground which is a girl thing. You can look at the length of the wing feathers to give you an idea. If the wing tips reach the butt area, they are girls. The boys have substatially shorter, smaller wings. You will also see classic Rooster behavior to include stare downs, mock fighting and upright gait. They will also instinctively look at the sky for predators. Very pretty. View attachment 2713846

Now I have two young frizzles. Praying those two are pullets as well! Lol
