Cockateil Aspiration ? pls help

New in cockateil he’s rescued
and he’s 4 months old haven’t drinking water since morning so i just giving him water via dropper (only few drops)
when i hold him and pour water he sneeze and when i put him back in catch his doing some movement with his beak & tail (4-5 times)
now seems fine and vocalise now i will never give him anything via dropper is it aspiration ?
anything to look for ? pls help pls pls pls i’m worried so much
he’s preening now happy

What a gorgeous little bird! He seems perfectly all right. If he aspirated any fluid, he would be gasping and coughing.

The best way to give a bird fluids is to either dip the beak or drip water on the side of the beak and the bird will take it in.

yea he did some beak movement 4-5 times with his tail bobbing too then back to normal i will do this now only never use dropper now i feel scared

Small birds will only drink a few quick sips of water throughout the day. Unless he is acting ill in some other way, don't try and force fluids down him.

indeed agreed this is a lesson for me .. giving anything with a
dropper is a trick
