Going to go pick up a Moluccan cockatoo tomorrow, wish us luck!

(and for all you out there wondering; yes I have PLENTY of experience in parrots, and know verry well what im getting into) Pics will be posted as they are teken!

Oh congrats, he is beautiful. I held one once and it was the nicest bird ever. I dont know what it is about cockatoos but they are all loving.

I have to tell this story, One time my friend ask me to watch their parrot "Nikki" they brought over her big Huge tree with a large pan underneath it. I had three small dogs a shihtzu mix. they have been licking their chops since Nikki came. I was so worry sick about it. Nikki was in the kitchen, and we were in another room watching tv. Nikki walked down the hallway to come to see us !! I FREAKED out , what of my dog ate her !!! ??? My dog didnt care less but gave her kisses !!

Yeah, I've had everything from budgies, to macaws, but I've found cockatoos to be, by far the most affectionate!

And it is also said that Moluccan Cockatoos can understand 70 percent of all the words you say!
