Hello all!
Thank you for any feedback. My question. Today is about my boy. I'm on my first flock. 2 welsummers, 2 golden laced polish, 1 barred rock. All are pullets except 1 polish is a beautiful boy. He turned out to grow up beautifully and I already have a great home for him where he will compete In contests and live a wonderful life. However the person that is gonna adopt him lives out of state and can't get him until he swings through. This was all according to plan I have no problem raising him as long as I could. This morning he crowed for the first time and has been doing it throughout the day. HOA laws prohibit roosters. I really don't care about that either. My question is will he be okay with my pullets since they aren't at point of lay? When will he begin to mount them? Should I be worried about them being together. Will he harm them or pull out back feathers thus young? (All 12 weeks old) what is normal procedure with this as they grow up. Thank you all again.
