Poor thing sounds like he has really been suffering- hope it hasn't progressed beyond the point where antibiotics can save him. A month is a long time.

so here are some pics, just so you can see the issue, in all the pictures he has got his eyes closed as he loves sitting in the sun to warm up, but it looks pretty much the same with eyes open.

Thats definately tracheitis. All you need is apple cider vinegar. Its really not that bad. Its like a human having a cold. The swelling is mucus in the synapses.
