Definitely a cockerel. You get the best balance between meat amount and tenderness around 14-20 weeks depending on the breed.

I wouldn't wait for crowing. I have a Cochin that didn't crow until he was 18 months old.

That's definitely possible (my BSL pullet's comb reddened and got big early, too, and she feathered out super slow...all general traits of a cockerel), but I, too, am going to agree with everyone else: I would say it's a cockerel.

They are supposed to be amberlink...they are from tractor supply.
