Cockerel or pullet? 15-week old EE

Is this a cockerel or a pullet (pics below)? It's 15 weeks old and I believe it's an Easter Egger. Thank you for your help -- much appreciated!!

That's a boy, without a doubt. Generally when they have that red color on their shoulders, that's an indication of a male.

Darn! Any suggestions for re-homing him? I'm thinking I can ship him (via express mail in a poultry shipping box) to anyone who's willing to adopt him. He's been hand-raised on organic fermented feed and is very gentle.

I would try Craigslist. I usually have a lot of luck rehoming birds there. A lot of times cockerels do become someone's dinner though regardless.

Thank you!! I took him to a local feed store who took him in (they have regular customers who adopt roosters), and he is now living on a 40-acre ranch with other chickens.
