Cockerel or Pullet 99% sure I’m right just looking for second opinions.

Absolutely move them outdoors, at 6 weeks they are feathered in enough to stay warm. Not sure where you are located, but if the nights get cold be sure they have an area out of the wind and they will be just fine, we tend to get ours outdoors by the end of week 3 or 4 depending on the time of the year.

I'm in VA. This is my first time with fall chicks. Should I put their heat plate in their coop for the night?

They will not need the heat plate at this age, just give them a place out of the wind and they will be just fine. Most will huddle together on the floor or perch inside the coop at night, no need for heat at that age.

I know it seems a little harsh but this is the way they were made and can handle the cold, if raised by a broody she would have kicked them out by now anyway

Updated wattle growth on the Wyandottes I’m not sure which pictures are of which bird but I’m thinking both are cockerels. They turn 7 weeks tomorrow.

They still look like girls to me.

All are pullets. It’s normal for wyandottes to pink up that early.

I agree with pullets. I’m in Maryland and my babies have been outside without heat since about 4 weeks. Your kiddos are fine to go outside.
