Cockerel or Pullet, Black Australorp or ?

Update on my chickies. I now don't think the bottoms of the feet of either of the birds are yellow per se. More a creamy color. BUT I do think the bird on the right is a Roo. I've looked for spur bumps and the bird on the left has a mark where they should be but nothing raised whereas the bird on the right (the one I've long suspected might be a Roo) has little nubbins in the same spot.

Jenny (now Jeremy) has to go. I can't have roos due to known neighbors who will complain about the crowing. Was never my intent to have a rooster. Run I got these as chicks from was supposed to be pullets 90% accuracy. I bought 4 chicks and got a Rooster. Now why can't I win the lottery??????

Oh, and these ladies/gent are 16 weeks old.

At 16 weeks, they both look like pullets. One is just a bit more mature than the other. By 16 weeks, even slow developing cockerels will have visible male saddle feathers coming in.

Thanks folks! Also, have heard no crowing but since I'm a beginner I also don't know what I'm looking/listening for. I'll still call the one Jenny for now!

Don't get rid of Jenny! She's just growing up is all. When they're mature, all your hens will have combs like that. My guess is you'll be getting eggs from her in less than a month.

Ok, Jenny and Claire, the other BA are staying and neither are Jersey Giants. I can see the bottoms of their feet really easy now.

So my next question is about my EE girl. She has pointy feathers at the base of her neck but none near the tail. She certainly doesn't have a comb or wattles yet. A hen also? Her name is Mandy.
