I bought two straight run silkie chicks, mainly for pets because they’re bantams and are said to be relatively docile. I’m hoping they’re both female, but I’m aware there is a good chance one could be a cockerel or (goodness forbid) both!
I can only give pictures of one right now, she (hopefully) is the smaller one with a smaller vault in her skull (pet quality crest I’m pretty sure). Her sister is sleeping so I’ll take pics tomorrow. Here she is:

(Please excuse my feet in the picture ) feel free to request more photos if you think it might help

What are their ages? From the size of the comb in the one pictured, going to guess cockerel but I'm just guessing. My daughter bought 2 cockerels from a breeder at 3 mo old, turned out to be a pair. They just had their first hatch ... Bubbles on Good Friday :love

Wow, they are young yet and Silkies are not the easiest to sex, maybe repost pics when they are 3 months old. Still thinking the 1st pic is a cocerel.
Thank you, Dusty & Ziggy are my Grand Daughter's FFA project. Dusty/left is the Roo & Ziggy/right a Hen. Notice the difference with the puff on their heads as well as their combs & their tails. If I recall they're about 13 - 15 months old.

Like above said, way young!!!! But I’ll give you a GUESS, I’m thinking cockerel with the comb. And if this one has the smaller comb, I’m guessing cockerel for the other one too. S/He looks to be about the same age as mine. I have 11 babies I’m guessing at. LOL
