Cockerel or pullet?

We were gifted a momma silkie with her baby a couple months ago, we were told they were a mother daughter pair but lately I’ve been skeptical that the young bird is actually a cockerel and not a pullet like we thought. What do you guys think?

We really need to see the comb clearly to tell anything. But you can also judge for yourself. If the comb is large compared to that of its mother, then it could well be a cockerel. If the comb is around the same size, then probably a pullet.

Hmm, I don't see obvious streamers on its head. Do you have any idea on the age?

Not 100% sure of age but my guess is between 5-7 months?
