I was given two cockerels on Saturday. This morning, one of them has one completely closed eye, and the other is watery--it's clear, with bubbles in it. Does anyone have any idea what this is?

Thank goodness they're in the quarantine pen.

Shameless bump--he's looking better today, but I'm trying to figure out if he'll get better of if I need to cull both of them. He's less active than the other boy he came with, but it could just be his personality, I guess. Anyone have any ideas? These are nice boys, a wheaten Ameraucana and a feather-legged Marans.

treat it with chlorphenamine maleate 4mg with some anti bots

I had a hen with bubbles in the eye once. I put her in a pen by herself, and she was fine the next day. I think she got stung by a bee, as there were a lot around the coop. could anything like that have happened?

Why? What do you think he might have?

And to answer lovinchicks--no, he wasn't stung. Both eyes were affected. He's got SOMETHING. The only question is, is it a treatable something, or a culling something? These boys are free roosters, and I have 70 hens. It's not worth treating him and then having him introduce something like mycoplasmosis to the flock.

Def. not worth it! Sorry I can't help. Just when you think you have these chickens figured out, they always throw something new at you!

because this product can also use for any alergics(sorry for the spelling) this product is not a anti bot but it supress the symtoms verry good so that you anti bots work better i use it on birds with cold with LA120 with great results.
