Cockerel with vertigo - dizzy - can't stand

Two weeks later and he remains the only one to get suddenly sick and die. The others are still fine. No signs of illness at all.

I put down my 4 year old rooster who did the same thing yours did. He was fine. Weight good. I went out to let the chickens out of the coop and he didn't come out. I found him on the floor under the roost. Thought he was dead but not. I picked him up and stood him up and he walked like he was very dizzy and couldn't stand. I was thinking Marek's or some other neurological disease. I am praying my other chickens don't get whatever happened to him. I can't imagine losing all my flock. My other male rooster is thin and I've been using a catheter to get fluids down him all week. But he doesn't have any other issues so I think it is a crop issue with him. I don't know. I hate this part of taking care of animals.
