Cockerels 8 weeks crowing?

I saw a video of somebody who knew she had a cockerel at a week old when one of her chicks threw back his head and did his best baby crow. It was the most addable little thing I've ever seen.

My roo started crowing at 4 weeks of age and never started again until he was 14 weeks. So it is definitely possible.

I started with 6 California white chicks. At right around 8 weeks the smallest one, who we suspected was a rooster, started crowing loud and clear! A definite cock-a-doodle-do..it was kind of cute and made me laugh. The 2 others that we thought were roosters followed with the crowing within the next week or so. We cannot keep roosters in our town so I had to rehome them . I now have some bantam Cochins that are 2and a half weeks old and I just sawbuck on another post that they start crowing young too? Anyone else have experience with them??
