The neck feathers look pretty pointy. I'd wait though just in case it's the angle or the coloringWhy the SLW ?
Can you get a close up picture of the back of the neck feathers? I'm sorry that one might be a rooster that is what happened to me with my buff orpington and barred rock
My golden comets look like that. We got them from our local farm store.Yeah I did read that. The tractor supply called them golden comet
I didn’t notice them before but now that you mention it I looked again and maybe ?Doesn’t it look like it has muffs?
Maybe the pattern is just making it look like little muffs and a beard?
Well the size and feather coloring isn’t why I was thinking it. The comb and wattles are huge and very red for only 8 weeks old and hens don’t have tails like that.Oh shoot. Really? I keep reading they are large birds and both hen and rooster have the blue in feathers. No doodles yet.![]()
