Cockerels? Pullets? What gender do you think they are?

X 2 Right now I lean pullet on the silkies, but they can be tricky. Pullets as well as cockerels will flare hackles and mock/play fight.

My Buff Orp Melody does this. She is head pullet and is a bit of a bully.

Makes sense. I just wasn't sure because I don't remember seeing my other hens ever doing that. Thanks everyone for clearing that up! Well, I guess I need to start looking for new homes for the cockerels. (I am not allowed to keep roosters)
