Do you know what the land was used for prior to your chickens?
I'm wondering if something in soil is of concern.

Checking out your local vet labs that could test birds or the soil will help. You definitely don't want meat birds contaminated with something.

well, 20 years ago it was used as a grape vineyard and orchard, it was left this way abandoned for all that time.
