By "bigger" are you referring to the size of the bird because a good serama is not a big bird! Sure, there are serama that are larger and over the weight limits but they are not show birds as is true with any breed.

He is a cocopop gene carrier, his dad is a laced cocopop silverduckwing and mom is a silver ginger (Jerry S. told me she is also carrier of the cocopop gene).

He is a double laced cocopop silver duckwing same parents as the one above.....his dad is a single laced and he came out double. I believe the one I sold to Jose is also a double laced.

He is a wht mottled, I use him in this project to improve type and tail setting. He is not related to anyone on my cocopop project so his contribution will be valuable in the long run.

She is a chocolate ginger, sister to both cockerels above.

The second hen is a silver ginger, she looks about the same as her mom. Sorry, I don't have the picture of my second hen.......I single mate all these to see what they produce.

anyways... the tail feathers are super short... now every type A i have seen around on the forums and at people's houses don't have that tail... they have round and long sickle feathers, and a long wide tail with 7 or more feathers on each side...


i don't want to put up pictures of american seramas on here because they might belong to one of you guys... LOL... but look at the ones that were already put up on this forum... i've been looking at the malaysian serama standards, and they say that color is 0.5% of the points... LOL...

looks like us americans just like long pretty colored feathers and full tails on everything... so it's hard to cul a serama with a huge fan on it's butt... i would want to keep it myself... LOL... but still... i kind of like the malaysia look a lot more...

its going to take a few years till we can breed something like that here cause only a few US breeder even have birds that look like that so hoping to see some more of this type here
