I went into town today...and Coco came too. I stopped by Lowes to look at ceiling I was walking
about, a man who worked there, asked surprisingly...." Is that an eagle!" .....ahhhhhhh......No, it's a chicken, I replied....a Silkie chicken. He looked at her and was intrigued.
After he left, I shook my head..... How does a fluffy black/blue Silkie with a diaper look anything like an eagle.... Lol
He was not a young guy either...... Hehe..... It's amazing how scared some people are of any chicken too.... But they do seem interested in her however ......after they realize she's not a dog, a monkey......or now an eagle. :;)

[IMG] You do realize that now across the dinner table he is telling his wife about the 'crazy' chicken lady that he met today. [IMG]

    That's hysterical.

I was in my back yard one afternoon and someone was ringing the front door bell. I knew I couldn't get my muddy clogs off in time to get through the house so I scooted through the garage and as I was scooting, I could hear the click click click of a hen running after me. It was my love bug Buff Orpington. I'm nervous having the garage door open with the hens out because lots of people walk their dogs off leash.

So I scooped her up into my arms and carried her out front with me. At the front door was a salesmen who's eyes got super big and he says, "Whoa, Is that a goose?" Now she's a BIG bird at 8 lbs. But a goose she is most definitely not.
