I am new to seramas and have a cocopop roo, I believe he is a son of 2 of Lulins chickens. I am not sure what kind of hen to get for him. I am trying to learn genetics but it can be confusing. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

A partridge or wheaten hen with little or no extra black would be ideal. But there are a variety of hens that can work, and you can breed daughters back to the father to produce cocoapops if the initial pairing doesn't work.

A Colombian. They remove black from head and tail. Then any daughters that look like him breed back to him. Jerry Schexnayder J&L Seramas LLC is the original producer of the coco pop
