Hey where did ya all go fresh ginger bars .. These are old school my childhood, with a new twist. I put M&M and Reeses peices in them..

I'm just about toast here, hubby is already in bed . I thought I went to bed early, UT he beats me every day!

Those sound good, is the recipe in the Baker's thread?

No but give me sec I will write from the old book
Ginger Snaps

Use 375 oven.
2 c sugar
1c shortening (lard, spry or crisco)
2 eggs 1 c molasses
1 tbsp vinegar
2tsp soda disolved in small amt of very hot water.
1 tbsp ginger
little salt
5 cups of flour to make a stiff dough

Roll in small balls or spread over a cookie sheet
If you do the balls press with a glass

That is so wrong! Ice tea is akin to hot beer.

Beings I am a sophisticated well edukated polite northern male we all know I have to be correct. Otherwise, I could not preach against the evils of Okra..,
