Yup picked up the mail my walking onions are here now giving them a drink put them in dirt.

What are walking onions? Do you plant them and once they're ready for harvest they just walk into the kitchen?

Na have to pull from google. Unlike most onion varieties, Egyptian walking onions (Allium x proliferum) set bulbs at the top of the plant – each with numerous small onions that you can harvest for planting or eating. Egyptian walking onions taste much like shallots, although slightly more pungent.
