Due to inclement weather, there was no balloon launches this morning. However, here's a recap of what launched yesterday morning.

Last night was supposed to be a balloon glow where they inflate the balloons, keep them grounded, and the burners light up the insides so the balloons look like giant night lights. Sadly, an errant bolt of lightning struck a bit close to the propane refueling tank followed by an incredible downpour. First time that I can recall that they've evacuated Balloon Fiesta Park. (We're talking thousands of people stampeding to the parking lot and the resultant traffic jam.) Yep, made the news!
