Good morning! It is 32 this morning which isn’t so bad but we’ve had an ice storm so everything is treacherous. The power just now went out and we’re not happy about that but there is no wind, we have lots of firewood so we’ll be comfy for the most part.

Thanks for the coffee, Sue.
It's 16°F here, feels like 0°F with 18mph winds. After the last artic blast, didn't want my well pipes to freeze again, so kept it cycling all night via the sprinkler. Here's the results, Welcome to Sean's Winter Wonderland.

Guess I'll have a partially 'White Christmas', as I'll be letting it do this until Tuesday before we warm up to above freezing at night.

What's the weather like by you, Sue? Local news just had pictures of Memphis with people being foolish enough to try to drive on ice covered roads.

Well, yesterday's jeans-and-tee reverie (55 was our unseasonal temp high) gave way to a very windy cold front last night. Awoke to 19 degrees, but it has since warmed up to 28. So another cup of coffee before donning the hoodie and visiting the chickens.

This is what it was at 5 this morning, we are up to 8 degrees now. Yeah, I wouldn't want to drive today or at least this morning
