In spite of spilled coffee, and other morning dramas, it turned out to be a good laundry day and a gorgeous 70 degree afternoon here today, which is very rare for March 1st in PA. Sadly, the feed store called to say we won’t be getting our chicks until May now. Oh well. More time to overhaul the coop. Contemplating a 5pm coffee.

We have 46 out cannot complain fell asleep in my chair felt good. Did the tables in the coop. collected 11 eggs.

Nice weather here but they say rain mixed with snow for the next couple of days. Back into the 50s by the weekend though so typical back side of winter weather here for us.

I am hearing Cock Robins singing in the forest so they have definitely returned and are telling me that spring is around the corner. I never argue with the birds about the weather. They know more than I do about it ;-)
