Good morning my lovely Chicken friends!
Having my third cup.

So I was changing water this morning and this "new" waterer came open and dumped a gallon of water in the brooder.

The chicks seemed deeply offended but only one got noticeably wet. And thats because "he" ran to where the water was to protect everyone (or because he was curious)

Anyway, I am using the deep litter method so I just added more wood shavings over the wet places because I had to go to a dental appt.

Should I dig all the wet stuff out later or just let the heat lamp eventually dry it out? It's a 110 gallon stock tank so 1 gallon doesn't add much.

I am just concerned it make become too humid for them and lead to illness.

Thanks for your guidance in advance.

Jay
