Good morning everyone!
@pennyJo1960 no fair saying good morning at 12:21 AM.:D

There is a pot of Brown Liquid Sadness if anyone is so inclined. Also a pot of regular delicious Brown Liquid Happiness. Yes I'm back to drinking Decaf. Sigh. Body was sending me some pretty intense warnings that if I didn't stop the caffeine it was going to make life very unpleasant for me

Like everyone I've been super busy. Fall rush is on. Hung a new storm window in the coop and just finished tearing down my original chicken coop. All that is left is the raised deck and I left that for the birds to get under for shade.

Fall is here which means the rush is on to have outdoor projects done before winter sets in.

Hope y'all have a Great Day!
@microchick , how old was your original coop? I am still using mine. Once i sell the chickens i may use it to store hay or maybe keep goats in.

Cap it was coming up 9 years of age. It wasn't a shed but an 8X4 raised shelter....picture a big deer stand, lol. I had built it so I could reach in at waist level and clean or access chickens as needed.

I had planned to keep it and use it for storage but with it not being used field mice were having a hay day with it and had turned it into a vagrant hotel. When I took the metal roof off of it there were at least 25 mice in the crawl space between the ceiling and the roof. Including new born babies....which the hens LOVED, BTW.

My main coop is an old shed that we covered with metal inside and out. It's starting to show it's age also. I keep hoping a good wind doesn't knock the poor building over and it at least lasts as long as my chickens do.

How you feeling, Cap?

I am happy it's Thursday, going to teach a ceramics class. I have been working on getting rid of the chickens, too many chores.
I try to ignore my health issues other than taking my pills and doing things i enjoy.

I hear ya. I saw the doctor last week. He said I may be 70 now but I'm physically more like 60 and he was happy with my progress.

He urged me to keep pushing myself to stay active. He didn't even yell at me when I told him I was trail riding on my dirt bike. He praised me for staying active and said as long as I didn't ride on the road I had his complete support.

Wow. Just. Wow.

So you are teaching ceramics now? How cool is that!!!
