[Ladies-Eight]

How are you these days L8?

I was doing okay until last Wednesday until my face got red on the right side and very painful.

Thursday I had some blisters in the same area and by Friday I had a full blown case of shingles.

Saturday morning I went to Doc in a box, was given an antiviral medication that I'm still taking, and was told to see my eye doctor as they are all around my right eye.

Monday I saw the eye doctor who gave me an antibiotic eye drops for the conjunctivitis and to see him again on Wednesday.

Wednesday was a good visit as they have not invaded the eye tissue.

I have scabs all over the right side of my face and in my hair.

I look like hell.

I will see the eye doctor again in four weeks.

The shingles last from 2 to 4 weeks.

The faster it goes away the better I will be.

Not a good time.

Well, I do have hot cross buns and sourdough cinnamon buns in the freezer waiting for Easter! Oh dear, now I am hungry!

I am so sorry to hear you got afflicted with the dang shingles! Glad your eye is ok and I hope you recover very soon!
