BTW Sour still have poor sense of taste and eating very poorly because of it. I think that is only one symptom of the virus.

@drumstick diva in a way I hope that you do have the virus as apparently it is not progressing to the more virulent phases. 400+ deaths here in NJ yesterday with no end in sight.

AW Sour - can't you and Princess get out of dodge NOW!! I think there are only a couple of states not reporting any. Of course I can't remember which ones they were.

Good morning all and thanks for the coffee and cake @sourland. Yesterday was busy, busy. My chicks arrived early in the morning. They all seem to be doing well. It took me a bit of adjusting the brooder plate to get the right height for them. But they are all eating, drinking and pooping well. I'll be spending the day inside again because of all the rain. Too soggy to walk anywhere that is not paved right now. As for your stove @drumstick diva, It would be less costly to get a good quality counter top oven. I have a small convection type oven that's not all that new, but I bake muffins and biscuits in it. I use it more in the summer when it's too hot to use the regular oven. But it works really well. I know the technology has improved even more since I bought mine so much so I've been tempted to get a bigger one. I am just amazed at the new chicken keepers joining the site. I can only imagine there are at least 10 - 20 more people doing the same thing but not joining our site.

I have Cusinart counter top oven. It bakes, convection bakes, air fries, makes toast, etc.

There are many times I use it instead of my gas oven.

You have to be careful when cooking as it will cook faster than a regular oven related to the size.

Realistically, we are in the best place that we can be. Our county has minimal deaths, and there is no state that does not have significant deaths. Realistically I think things are just continuing to ramp up especially in the central part of the country..

I live in Florida and we have had many deaths. The county Iive in has only had one death.

My husband was tested prior to being discharged from rehab. He tested negative.

I’m so happy to hear that! That must have been terrifying to have a loved one in a facility!
