Yes I’m looking into pullets, close to pol. I haven’t texted the people I got them from last year yet. I’m counting on getting some that people didn’t really want in the first place . Lol Integration was so easy last year with pol pullets. I lost my Welsummer so I’d love one or two of those, and someone locally does cream leg bars but chicks were sold out. They said to check with them later though cuz they do keep some for their own stock and will unload extra older pullets then. Ideally A trio of EE, Welsummer and cream leg bar. Or a combination of those. Maybe a barred rock. I’m trying to avoid soft feathers, over large muffs or beards, really broody ones etc. The ones I have are so peaceful I don’t want to upset that too much. I love my brown leghorn but another one of those could tip the peaceful scale. So much more active!

I was surprised how Much BF and I like the Cochin giant ones but so far pretty tiny eggs from her...
Like their temperments also ... Hard to figure Barred rocks can be quite bossy

The eggs will get bigger as the hens get older.

Really even starting so tiny huh now she is broody so not laying
