Good morning everyone, another slow morning here, but finally up and moving. Thanks for the coffee !

We should start drying out today, rained the past two days and the chickens are not happy. Need to move their portable house, but I think the ground will be way too wet.

Morning, all!

Sunny and 40 at present, but to hit 65 today. Tomorrow we spike to mid-70's. The rest of the week is sunny and 60's with zero chance of precip.

Garden time! Mowed the lawn for the first time this year yesterday as DH was complaining that picking up dog poop was more like an extraction. He proclaimed the push mower deader than a doornail at end of season last year, but -- miraculously -- it fired up first cord pull. Needed a woman's touch, I guess.

Delighted to see little spinach spears emerging. Need to replant the beet bed, but bits of green might indicate some peas are going to come play afterall. (Still, there'll be overplanting just to make sure there's a harvest.)

17 chicks in the brooders and 24 eggs in the incubator. DH making noises that we have chickens all over the house. Okay, to be fair -- and I'll own it -- there is an egg turner in the dining room, incubators/hatchers in two guest bedrooms, a large brooder in the garage. Well, there's worse vices; right?

Good morning one and all!

Water, tea, and condiments are ready for your enjoyment.

Have a great day!

We were discussing Reese Cups the other day.

Have you seen the new Mallow-Top Reese Cup?

It is a Reese Cup with marshmallow flavored creme on the top. It reminds me of a Mallow Cup.

It is really good.
Love a good mallow cup

I havent heard of them. I'll have to get one for my Mom. She loves mellow anything. Thanks for the share.

Ok. Is it normal for a chicken to have an egg this size!? I don't know if I should be concerned, or not? Only had chickens for a year.. Just thought I would ask.
